Resources

Resources allow you to share learning materials, guides, documents, and other helpful content with young people on Impactful. Published resources appear on your organisation's profile in the app, giving participants access to educational content related to your cause.

Accessing Resources

Navigate to Resources in the sidebar to view and manage all your shared resources.

Creating a Resource

  1. Click Create Resource or Share Resource
  2. Enter the resource details:
    • Title — a clear, descriptive name
    • Description — what the resource covers and who it is for
    • Link or attachment — an external URL or uploaded file
  3. Click Create

Your resource is saved as a draft until you publish it.

Views and Tabs

Grid and List Views

Toggle between views:

  • Grid view — card-based layout (default)
  • List view — tabular layout with sortable columns

Tabs

  • Published — live resources visible to young people
  • Draft — work-in-progress resources not yet visible

Publishing and Unpublishing

Publishing

When your resource is ready to share:

  1. Ensure all required fields are complete
  2. Click Publish
  3. The resource becomes visible on your organisation's profile in the app

Unpublishing

To hide a resource:

  1. Click Unpublish
  2. The resource returns to draft status

Bulk Actions

Select multiple resources using the checkboxes, then:

  • Publish — make multiple drafts live at once
  • Unpublish — hide multiple resources
  • Delete — permanently remove selected resources

Where Resources Appear

Published resources appear in several places:

  • Organisation profile — on the Resources tab, accessible to anyone viewing your organisation in the app
  • My Impact dashboard — in the resources carousel on participants' dashboards (up to 3 featured resources)

Tip: Create resources that complement your activities. For example, if you run environmental activities, share guides about local conservation, recycling tips, or sustainability practices.

Guided Tours

Built-in guided tours help you get started:

  • First visit tour — introduces the interface
  • Draft tour — guides you through publishing your first resource
  • Help tour — replay at any time using the help button

Tips

  • Keep resources current — update or unpublish outdated materials
  • Use clear titles — young people should understand what the resource is about from the title alone
  • Link to quality sources — ensure external links lead to reliable, age-appropriate content
  • Organise by topic — if you have many resources, use descriptive titles that make them easy to browse
