The Impactful App
The Impactful app is designed for young people aged 13 to 30 who want to make a real difference in their communities. It puts volunteering opportunities, social impact tracking, and recognition right in your pocket — free to download on iOS and Android.
What You Can Do
- Discover activities — Browse events, informal activities, and AI-generated ideas tailored to your interests and location.
- Join organisations — Follow and join charities, community groups, and other organisations to access exclusive activities and connect with like-minded people.
- Earn Impact Coins — Complete activities and share your achievements to earn Impact Coins, a recognition of the positive impact you are making.
- Track your progress — See your activity history, Impact Coins balance, and social impact journey all in one place.
- Create ideas — Use AI-powered suggestions to generate personalised activity ideas based on your passions and values.
How to Get Started
Getting up and running takes just a few minutes. Follow these guides in order:
1. Download the App
Get Impactful on your iOS or Android device. The app is free and takes about 100 MB of storage.
2. Create Your Account
Sign up with email, Google, or Apple. Complete age verification, choose your interests, and set your permissions.
3. Set Up Your Profile
Add a photo, write your bio, and select the causes you care about to personalise your experience.
4. Complete Your First Activity
Find an activity, register, follow the instructions, and earn your first Impact Coins.
