Impact Coins
Impact Coins are your reward for making a difference. Every time you complete an activity, share your achievements, or contribute to the community, you earn coins that reflect the positive impact you are having.
How to Earn Impact Coins
There are several ways to earn Impact Coins:

| Complete an activity | Finish any event, informal activity, or idea |
| Create an activity | Create a new activity or idea |
| Create a pledge | Commit to a future activity or goal |
| Fulfil a pledge | Follow through on a pledge you made |
| Share on social media | Share your activity completion to earn bonus coins |
| Sign up | Earn an initial reward when you first create your account |
| Add activity details | Provide a description when completing activities |
Tip: Sharing your completed activities on social media is one of the easiest ways to earn extra coins. See Sharing Your Impact for details.
How Coins Work
Impact Coins have two states:
- Unlocked — earned when you start or participate in an activity
- Banked — confirmed when the activity is fully completed
Your displayed balance shows your banked coins — these are the coins that have been fully confirmed through completed activities.
Viewing Your Balance
To check your Impact Coins balance:
- Tap your Profile icon in the top right corner of the header
- Tap your profile card to open the Edit Profile screen
- Your banked coin balance is displayed on this screen
Donating to Organisations
One of the most rewarding ways to use your Impact Coins is to donate them to organisations you support. Donated coins contribute to the organisation's fundraising total and help them climb the leaderboard.
How to Donate
- Find an organisation you want to support (via the Discover tab or from your My Organisations list)
- Open the organisation's profile
- Tap the Fundraising section or Donate button
- Enter the number of coins you want to donate
- Confirm your donation
You can also donate directly from the Leaderboards screen by tapping an organisation and selecting Donate.
Note: Donated coins are transferred permanently and cannot be returned to your balance.
Organisation Leaderboards
Organisations are ranked on the leaderboard based on the total coins donated to them by young people. You can view rankings across different time periods:
- Week — resets every Monday
- Month — resets on the 1st of each month
- Year — resets on 1st January

Tips for Earning More
- Stay active — complete activities regularly to build up your balance
- Share your impact — post your completions on social media for bonus coins
- Create ideas — use the AI-powered Ideas feature to find new activities
- Fulfil your pledges — follow through on commitments for extra coins
Important to Know
- Impact Coins are permanently lost if you delete your account. See Delete Your Account for details.
- Coin values for each action may vary and are set by the platform
- Donations to organisations are permanent and non-reversible
