Using the Impactful app

What the app does

The Impactful app is where you find things to do, take part, and keep a record of it. It is built around three tabs: Home, where your impact adds up, Discover, where you find activities and organisations, and Messages.

Organisations publish activities from the Impactful Connect portal, and they land in the app for you to sign up to. You can also create your own activities and ideas.

Where to start

If you have just installed it, these four in order will get you to your first completed activity:

1. Download the app covers iOS and Android and what to expect the first time you open it.
2. Creating your account walks through signing up with email, Google or Apple, and setting your permissions.
3. Setting up your profile is worth ten minutes: the causes you pick are what the Discover feed uses.
4. Your first activity takes you from finding one to earning your first Impact Coins.

After that, the full list of guides is grouped by what you are trying to do, from the dashboard and registrations through to sharing, leaderboards and account settings.
