What is Impactful?

Impactful is a social impact platform designed for young people aged 13 to 30. It connects you with real-world opportunities to make a difference in your community and beyond. Whether you are looking to volunteer, start a project, or find ways to contribute, the Impactful app puts everything you need right in your pocket.

The app is free to download and available on both iOS and Android devices.

Download on iOS

To get the Impactful app on your iPhone or iPad:

1. Open the App Store on your device.
2. Tap the search icon and type Impactful.
3. Find the Impactful app in the search results.
4. Tap Get to begin the download.
5. If prompted, confirm with Face ID, Touch ID, or your Apple ID password.
6. Once the download is complete, tap Open or find the Impactful icon on your home screen.

Tip: Make sure you are signed in to your Apple ID before downloading. If you do not have one, you can create an Apple ID for free in your device settings.

iOS System Requirements

• iOS 15.6 or later
• Compatible with iPhone and iPad
• Approximately 100 MB of free storage space

Download on Android

To get the Impactful app on your Android phone or tablet:

1. Open Google Play on your device.
2. Tap the search bar and type Impactful.
3. Find the Impactful app in the search results.
4. Tap Install to begin the download.
5. Once the download is complete, tap Open or find the Impactful icon in your app drawer.

Tip: If you have multiple Google accounts on your device, make sure you are using the one you want associated with the app.

Android System Requirements

• Android 8.0 (Oreo) or later
• Approximately 100 MB of free storage space

What to Expect After Download

When you open the Impactful app for the first time, you will be guided through a short onboarding experience made up of four slides:

1. Discover -- Explore opportunities and connect with organisations driving meaningful change.
2. Purpose Driven Ideas -- Share your passions and values to create personalised ideas that can inspire real impact.
3. Take Action -- Transform ideas and opportunities into powerful activities, make them happen, and create positive change.
4. Impact Coins -- Earn Impact Coins for every completed activity and donate them to organisations of your choice.

After the onboarding carousel, you will be prompted to create your account and start exploring.

Tip: You must be at least 13 years old to create an account and use the Impactful app.

Troubleshooting

The app is not showing in search results

• Double-check that you are searching for Impactful with the correct spelling.
• Make sure your device meets the minimum system requirements listed above.
• If you are using a managed device (such as a school or work phone), your organisation may restrict app downloads. Contact your device administrator for help.

Not enough storage space

If the download fails due to limited storage:

• Go to your device settings and check available storage.
• Remove apps, photos, or files you no longer need to free up space.
• Try the download again once you have enough room.

Keeping the app up to date

Impactful is regularly updated with new features and improvements. To make sure you always have the latest version:

• iOS: Open the App Store, tap your profile icon, and scroll down to see available updates.
• Android: Open Google Play, tap your profile icon, then tap Manage apps and device to check for updates.

Turning on automatic updates in your device settings is the easiest way to stay current.
